There is also some obverse painting to the shade to give it the appearance of a snowy sunrise. The lamp base finish has been redone in a color that would have been correct to the original finish, and this has been rewired. The shade is in excellent condition with no damage to the painting. It is a mid-sized lamp with a 14\" shade and measures 21 1\/2\" high. The shade and base are original together. The base is marked on the inside of the base weight as was common with many PLB and G lamps.
