Antique Sailor's Valentine Frame Rosewood and Pewter Inlay

Original antique picture frame display for a Sailor's Valentine that was normally made with seashells and displayed in a wood frame. This is the frame only and it does have small areas of rosewood veneer loss but it is an original 19th century piece in an octagonal shape. It does have the original backing and hanger but the velvet lining has been removed because of deterioration.
