Vintage Blue Slag Glass Panel Lamp Signed Poul Henningsen

Vintage slag glass panel lamp from the 1930's and signed with the initials PH for Poul Henningsen. These initials are seen on the outside of the shade frame on the bottom edge but you have to look closely to see them. It is original and in very good condition having been rewired and can be used as a night light only or both sections top and bottom lighting up. It measures 17" high with a 12" shade measured from flat side to flat side and a 7" wide base. The cap for the base has been resoldered at one point but it is very well done and secure. The shade harp is a solid cast iron piece which is capable of supporting the heavy weight of the shade. The scene and the frame are much more elaborate than normally seen and the finish and patina are original. Very nice conditional that is all set to use.
