Art Deco Acid Etched Pate De Verre Glass Lamp Signed Daum Nancy

This is an Art Deco glass lamp signed Daum Nancy. The glass is acid-etched pate de verre with a wrought iron neck and spider. There is a slight difference in the surface texture between the base and the ball shade and the signature is done in a slightly different manner. I do not know if this is original or a reproduction but it is done exactly like a true Daum nancy table lamp and all of the wrought iron parts are consistent with Daum lamps from the Art Deco period. There were French reproductions made in the mid-century and also some reproductions made in Czechoslovakia and Romania that were done true to the original pieces. Works beautifully and is in very good condition with no damage or repair. It is being priced for the quality of the lamp. There are many other Daum lamps that show up on various sites that are the same quality and style that are listed as original Daum Nancy lamps. They have the same finish, wrought iron parts and body style and are of the same quality as this lamp so please judge accordingly. The lamp measures 17 inches tall and 8 inches wide.
