Gr 56 Solid Silver Antique Reticulated Belt 342 Grams 34 Inches

Excellent condition antique hallmarked solid sterling silver belt weighing a heavy 342 grams and measuring 34" total length. This is a massive piece and impressive in design. I cannot find the mark but it tests as sterling silver and guaranteed as such. Because of the design the belt can be adjusted to a smaller length. The cut-out work is very meticulously done and it is reminiscent of early Renaissance Revival silver work from Italy but can be just as easily German or Hungarian in work. No damage or repair and if not as a belt, this is a piece that can be converted to quite a few bracelets or choker and bracelet combination. Just beautiful, unique and impressive.
