Getting harder to find true Arts and Crafts period panel or slag glass table lamps that are all original.  This is one of them - original shade and base and glass and from the early 1900's. It is a cast zinc base with most likely a zinc or pot metal center section as was common. It is a lovely and functional example of early 20th century lighting at the height of the Mission or Craftsman period. The shade is original to the base with no damage to the glass and it measures 17 1/2" diameter point to point and the total height is 21 inches. The green glass is not as common as the caramel slag glass. The painted surface was originally white, but it was redone because the original paint had flaked off of much of the base and shade, so it was refinished in the same color. It was rewired correctly as all of our lamps are just to be safe.
Shipping is by UPS, and we pack extremely carefully - double boxing and the shade and base are in separate boxes so almost all lamp shipments are two packages. The lamps have survived intact this long, and we pack to ensure that they survive rough handling.
