Antique Pittsburgh Lamp with Obverse Painted Shade

This is an antique mid-sized obverse painted Pittsburgh lamp with a rural scene. The lamp base finish is as found with the shade frame, heat cap and finial all with the same enamel paint. It is in very good condition with minimal enamel wear. The base has been rewired. The shade is in excellent condition with no damage to the painting. It is a mid-sized lamp with a 12 1/2" shade and measures 19 1/2" high. The shade and base are original together. The base is marked on the inside of the base weight as was common with many PLB and G lamps and the shade support has the original adjusting tabs marked PLB & G. These are getting harder to find with all original parts and this is a very nice example.
