Signed D.L. Neuhauser, Chicago Solid Brass Lamp Base with Leaded Slag Glass Shade. PG 31

This is a signed D.L. Neuhauser bronze lamp base from Chicago Illinois. It is set with a period lamp shade in stained or leaded glass in a parasol or umbrella fish-scale design. Handel also had a shade very similar to this one and also had a lamp base almost identical, but this lamp base is impressed with the Neuhauser signature. This is a very large shade and base and does have a few cracks to the glass, but it is still structurally sound. This is a very rare lamp and a great example of the Arts and Crafts or Craftsman period. PG31
