This is an original double light solid brass Miller lamp base dating to the early 1900's. The finish is original with just a few worn areas and tiny dings on the base rim. It has been rewired and has a vintage Tiffany style slag glass shade in what they call a parasol shape that just sits on the original wheel shade rest. It measures 21" high and 18" wide and is a very large example. This is made using the copper-foil technique and soldered together. There are a few cracks that are pictured but they are stable. The sockets are also original Hubbell sockets with one of the sockets also stamped Miller lamps. They have their original acorn pulls. The heat cap is a vintage replacement but is also solid brass. This is a good example of the Craftsman or Arts and Crafts Mission period.
