Lovely hot water or teapot in sterling silver made by William Wrangham Williams for the Lambert company on Coventry Street London. It is beautiful chased repousse work with the hallmark dating it to 1864, the Victorian period. There is a possible old repair on the lid by the hinge but there is no other issues. This is just noticeable because there is some evidence of the repair on the inside of the lid but it is well done and very secure. This is a very heavy little pot and beautifully decorated. It weighs 287 grams and measures 7" high. It still has it's original rattan covered handle in excellent condition. This is a lovely example of a well respected London silversmith from the Victorian period. PG8
