Vetro Soffiato Murano Venetian Enamel Ruby Glass Bowl Vittorio Zecchin HUGE 18"

This lovely glass bowl is a piece of Vetro Soffiato hand blown and enameled with an extremely detailed decoration in the manner of Salviati or Moser and made to mimic lace. It is an actual glass enamel, and the size of this bowl is huge - 18" diameter with a folded rim and fluted molded center bowl. This shape is known to be by Vittorio Zecchin for Cappellin and Venini from the 1920's as is the extremely thin Soffiato glass which was typical of his work. This bowl is unique, exquisite and not a common piece and sure to be a highlight of any Murano or Venetian glass collection. There are other pieces similar in style on other sites, but I have not seen any this large.
